Randolph Avenue

Our work on a semi-detached Victorian villa in Maida Vale involved extensive remodelling and extension of the existing property. A refined material palette throughout creates a series of calm, contemporary spaces, where crittall glazing is paired elegantly with traditional architectural details. The area is designated as a conservation area, so only sensitive alterations to existing buildings are permitted. A large basement extension below the house and garden provides a utility, spare bedroom suite, gym, storage, and light-filled living space. Above ground, a small rear extension has a big impact inside, enabling an improved kitchen and dining layout which opens out onto the south facing garden and silver birch tree.
