Westover Road
Our work on a double bay, detached Victorian house in Wandsworth involved the replacement of an outdated glass conservatory to the rear, where we designed a contemporary extension with an asymmetrical pitched roof and dramatic, cantilevered corner. While the new addition references traditional architecture, it incorporates modern finishes like zinc and fibre-cement cladding with oak louvres, which are used inside the house for a sense of continuity. A new picture frame window at the end of the entrance hallway forms a striking view of the garden when walking through the front door, and the general layout has been improved with new routes from the hallway to the kitchen and utility area.
